Airport Hotel Billund is undergoing a major expansion adding 90 new rooms and a number of new facilities. Green Box is supplying 88 prefabricated bathrooms for the project, including 10 for junior suites, with a strong emphasis on materials, details and the overall look.

Major expansion of Airport Hotel Billund

Airport Hotel Billund is set to undergo a major expansion designed to increase hotel capacity and enhance its offerings for both business and leisure guests. The project includes a new six-story wing with 90 rooms and a total of 308 new beds. New meeting and conference facilities will also be added, as well as a restaurant, café and bar. Expected completion is July 2027.

The hotel is owned by Proark and continues its franchise partnership with Bühlmann Hotels. General contractor is KG Hansen, architects are RUM Architects, and engineering consultants are DRIAS Rådgivende Ingeniører.

For the expansion, Green Box is supplying a total of 88 prefabricated bathrooms, 10 of which are for junior suites.
