BRF GOURMET

Brf Gourmet is the first residential area in the Stadshagen – Greenhouse Sthlm neighbourhood. The area includes 114 climate-friendly and space-efficient apartments with 1 or 2 rooms as well as spacious communal areas, including a communal living room, kitchen and lounge with direct access to the neighborhood’s café and concierge service.

The building is designed with the ambition of creating sustainable homes with a high quality of life. In order to reduce CO2 emissions, the construction is predominantly made of wood. On the roof there is a roof terrace with a breathtaking view over the whole of Stockholm. Here, it is furnished with sedum roofs, solar cells and solar heating panels that generate electricity and heat for the area’s homes. The green areas that are shared by everyone who lives and works in the area contribute to increased biodiversity.

Also inside, great emphasis has been placed on the choice of materials – not only in relation to functionality and aesthetics, but also in relation to the use of materials with as low a carbon footprint as possible. This can be seen in the prefabricated bathrooms from Green Box. The bathrooms are produced and supplied with washbasins and toilet bowls in wood composite instead of porcelain. An innovative material choice. Unlike porcelain, wood composite can be incinerated at the end of the product’s life cycle and is therefore a great contribution to protecting the environment through the reduction of waste.

The Brf Gourmet building is planned to be Nordic Ecolabelled and is also expected to be certified according to NollCO2.
