FREDHEIMKVARTALET

Fredheimkvartalet is a modern residential complex centrally located in Ås to the south of Oslo. The development comprises 141 energy-efficient owner-occupied apartments of varying sizes, all designed with a focus on comfort and modern convenience. Green Box is supplying 167 prefabricated bathrooms for the new complex.

Modern homes in the heart of Ås

Fredheimkvartalet is an inclusive environment that supports hygge, quality of life and a strong sense of community. In collaboration with the architects Lund+Slaato, an inviting residential development has been created that balances modern elements with the historical while offering architecture that elegantly blends into the local neighbourhood and lives up to tomorrow’s requirements for sustainability and technology.

Many of the apartments have spacious balconies, sunny roof terraces or private garden plots, and residents can enjoy a green and beautifully landscaped courtyard. In addition, Fredheimkvartalet offers a friendly communal room where neighbours can meet, participate in social activities or organise gatherings.

Prefabricated comfort with optional extras

Inside, the new apartments are characterised by their carefully conceived floor plans and modern facilities. All the apartments are furnished with prefabricated bathrooms from Green Box, which are delivered finished and ready for installation. A practical inspection hatch provides easy and direct access to the technical installations, even after the bathrooms have been installed.

The bathrooms basically come in a predefined design with high-quality fittings in a light and neutral colour scheme from Green Box’s standard range. Before starting to produce the bathrooms however, future residents were able to personalise the bathrooms through choosing their own tiles, sanitaryware, basins and cabinets, shower and shower walls, faucets, interiors as well as sockets and switches.

The apartments in Fredheimkvartalet will be ready for occupation in the second half of 2026. Betonmast Boligbygg is constructing the 141 residential units. The developer is Moerveien AS, which is owned by Bakke Leiligheter and IK Gruppen.
