FOR CONTRACTORS
What are the benefits of building with prefabricated bathrooms?
As a contractor, using prefabricated bathrooms enables you to save time and coordination efforts – and often leads to cost reductions. Producing the bathrooms in a controlled environment means we can use materials more efficiently, reducing waste and the amount of time working at the construction site.
You do not have to plan and coordinate different tradesmen and deliveries as the bathrooms come ready for installation.
Each pod comes fully wrapped in UV-resistant shrink film that allows them to be left in the open-shell structure for up to six months without moisture damage, giving you as a contractor great flexibility in your building project. We store the finished bathrooms in our own storage facility until you want to have them delivered.
Technical benefits for your construction project
Green Box bathrooms are built around an innovative and unique lightweight structure that provides a wide range of civil engineering advantages.
For example, the lightweight structure makes it possible to work with significantly slimmer structures and floor separation than when using conventional and much heavier concrete pods. The lower load on the cavity floors also means that grouting under the bathrooms can often be avoided.
Low installation height
The prefabricated bathrooms from Green Box have a floor design that ensures a low installation height. The low installation height makes it possible to reduce floor separation, which means that the total building height is also reduced.
In this way, the project both saves building materials and costs – and sometimes also cuts CO₂ emissions by using fewer resources*. (*The effect depends on the specific project, and can be documented with calculations.)
Protected against weather
Prefabricated bathrooms are often left for many months in the open-shell structure, where they risk being exposed to rain and other impacts. Due to the closed steel structure, however, Green Box bathrooms are protected against weather and penetration of water into the structure.

Green Box bathrooms – ready for the building site
See how Green Box prefabricated bathrooms are delivered directly from the factory to the building site. The video provides clear insights into how deliveries can be managed safely and efficiently in practice.
You will receive step-by-step guidance on proper blocking, unloading, hoisting, and unwrapping – procedures that minimize errors and ensure a smooth on-site process.
Green Box bathrooms are designed to be easy to handle and seamlessly integrate into the construction workflow. With clear instructions for delivery and handling, you save time, reduce risks, and secure high quality in the finished result.
BATHROOMS WITH FOCUS ON ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY
Green Box bathrooms are produced with a lightweight structure where only the floors contain a reduced layer of concrete. This contributes to lower weight and reduced consumption of materials, which can have a positive effect on the overall carbon footprint of the building.
Our bathrooms have, as a standard, a calculated carbon emission of approximately 2.9 kg CO₂ per m2 per year.* The calculation is based on based on internal calculations under typical assumptions and may vary from project to project.
*The underlying calculations and assumptions can be documented upon request.
“High quality, close dialogue, great flexibility, efficient service and danish production. These are crucial elements for me and some of the main reasons why I switched to using only Green Box bathrooms in my projects several years ago.”
Kasper Ørskov Hede Jensen, Project Manager, Nordstern
TOP QUALITY AND FULL TRACEABILITY
Our prefabricated bathrooms are produced in a standardised and efficient manner and with careful consideration for the environment. This is reflected in our prefabricated bathrooms, which are manufactured to have the least possible environmental impact.
Digitalised quality assurance is an integrated process for us and a tool for continuous optimisation of our production. Every single workflow in our production is quality checked. This is your guarantee that our products are of high and uniform quality, produced under controlled conditions. Via digitalised control and documentation, we achieve a high and uniform quality and finish across bathrooms, which can otherwise be difficult to achieve.
Access to documentation with QR code
Every building project comes with extensive requirements for documentation. We have made it easy for you and gathered all the documentation about our prefabricated bathrooms in one place, where it is easily accessible to both you and the future operator.
Via a QR code, you can follow the quality control and documentation of each bathroom from start to finish. This provides you with full traceability before, during and after the delivery of our prefabricated bathrooms for your project.
