For developers

What are the benefits of prefabricated bathrooms?

Many developers today choose prefabricated bathrooms over bathrooms produced on site for new construction projects. Scheduling and budgeting are among the reasons for this, because a prefabricated bathroom makes it possible to reduce both consumption of materials and time at the construction sites.

Shorten construction time – release capital faster

Prefabricated bathrooms from Green Box are manufactured in Denmark in parallel with the shell structure construction. Our standardised serial production significantly reduces the actual construction period, reduces financing costs and enables you as the developer to let/sell the project at an earlier stage of the process.

Documentation for bathroom pods available online

All our bathroom pod parts undergo digital quality assurance, and a QR code gives you instant access to drawings and equipment lists – a clear advantage in both the handover and operational phases.

Responsible bathroom solutions

Our innovative lightweight structure emits approximately 2.9 kg CO₂/m²/year as standard*, all materials are approved for Nordic Swan Ecolabelled construction, and the location of our production facilities in Denmark helps to minimize transport emissions, as transport to construction sites in our primary markets often takes place over relatively short distances.

Reliability from delivery to finished construction

Follow Green Box prefabricated bathrooms on their journey from the factory to the building site. The video demonstrates how well-planned logistics ensure an efficient process that creates value for the entire project.

You will gain insight into the procedures that support correct blocking, unloading, hoisting, and unwrapping – essential steps that reduce the risk of errors and help ensure high quality in the finished construction.

Green Box bathrooms are designed to make the construction process more predictable and efficient. With clear guidelines for delivery and handling, we support reliability, scheduling, and a smooth construction site process.

Bathrooms with focus on environment and quality

At Green Box, we continuously work to integrate environmental considerations in our solutions. Our prefabricated bathrooms are designed with a focus on choice of materials and structures that support sustainable building projects.

We exclusively use materials approved for use in Nordic Swan Ecolabelled construction, and our bathrooms meet the requirements to be used in DGNB-certified construction projects.

Green Box bathrooms are produced with a lightweight structure where only the floors contain a reduced layer of concrete. This contributes to lower weight and reduced consumption of materials, which can have a positive effect on the overall carbon footprint of the building. Our bathrooms have, as a standard, a calculated carbon emission of approximately 2.9 kg CO₂ per m2 per year.*

Green Box bathrooms are produced in Denmark, which means that transport to construction sites in our primary markets often takes place over relatively short distances. This can contribute to lower transport-related carbon emissions relative to solutions produced further away and transported over longer distances. The shorter transport distance is therefore a potential advantage in relation to future climate requirements.

Top quality and full traceability

Digital quality assurance is an integrated process for Green Box. Every single workflow in our production is quality checked. This is your guarantee that our products are of high and uniform quality, produced under controlled conditions. Via our digitalised control, we also obtain full documentation of the production of each individual bathroom.

Access to documentation with QR code

Every building project comes with extensive requirements for documentation. Collecting the necessary material can be hard work. We have therefore made it easy for you and gathered all the documentation about our prefabricated bathrooms in one place.

Via a QR code, you can follow the quality control and documentation of each bathroom from start to finish. This provides you with full traceability before, during and after the delivery of our prefabricated bathrooms for your construction project.

“As a developer, you gain access to all drawing documents and equipment lists for the individual bathroom via our digital quality assurance system. It’s a great help for facility management in the operation and maintenance of the bathroom.”

Focus on operaton and maintenance

When we at Green Box become involved in the design of prefabricated bathrooms, we draw on extensive experience and expertise that help ensure the optimal solution for each individual construction project.

In this process, we focus on technical installations and materials that not only provide the greatest benefits in the construction phase, but also meet the developer’s wishes and requirements for the subsequent operation and maintenance.

Through a well-developed network of the best suppliers in the market, we are at the forefront of the latest trends in bathroom design and can therefore always help with ideas for new innovative solutions which can facilitate your task as developer – also when the construction project has been completed.
