For developers
Greater certainty in the construction process
More developers today choose prefabricated bathrooms as part of a more predictable and efficient construction process. When bathrooms are manufactured off-site under controlled conditions and delivered ready for installation, it increases certainty in terms of schedule, budget and quality.
Prefabricated bathrooms can contribute to:
Shorter construction time and earlier occupancy
Improved budget control and fewer unforeseen costs
Reduced risk during execution and handover
Documentation and traceability throughout the project
This provides a more robust basis for decision-making and greater control over the overall project framework.
Shorter construction period – earlier occupancy
Green Box prefabricated bathrooms are produced in Denmark in parallel with the construction of the shell structure. While the building is erected on site, the bathrooms are manufactured in series under controlled factory conditions.
This parallel process can reduce the overall construction time and create a more stable project timeline. Earlier completion also enables faster letting or sale, supporting earlier capital release.
Documented quality and full traceability
Digital quality assurance is an integral part of the production of Green Box prefabricated bathrooms.
All workflows are systematically recorded and controlled, ensuring consistent quality and a fully documented basis for each individual bathroom.
Access to documentation via QR code
Documentation requirements in modern construction are extensive and demand clarity and transparency. That is why we compile all relevant documentation – including quality control records, drawings, component lists and approvals – for each bathroom in a digital format.
Via a QR code, the documentation is easily accessible before, during and after handover. This ensures full traceability and provides a solid foundation for both regulatory compliance and subsequent operation.
Documented technical quality
Technical Approval for Use (TGA)
Green Box is the only manufacturer of lightweight, prefabricated bathrooms in Denmark with a Technical Approval for Use (TGA).
The TGA is a voluntary, third-party verified scheme that documents the performance of the prefabricated bathrooms and their compliance with current Danish building regulations – including wet room requirements.
For you as a developer, this provides an independently verified documentation basis for the technical performance of the bathrooms and their application in the building. The TGA thereby contributes to a clear and transparent technical foundation for the project.
“As a developer, you gain access to all drawing documents and equipment lists for the individual bathroom via our digital quality assurance system. It’s a great help for facility management in the operation and maintenance of the bathroom.”
Kenneth Nygaard, Sales Manager, Green Box A/S
Bathrooms with a focus on environment and quality
At Green Box, environmental considerations and quality assurance are an integral part of the development of our prefabricated bathrooms. The construction is based on a lightweight structure, where only the floor contains a reduced layer of concrete. This reduces material consumption and may influence the overall carbon footprint of the building.
Green Box bathrooms are produced in Denmark, meaning that transport to construction sites in our primary markets typically involves shorter distances. This can contribute to lower transport-related carbon emissions compared to solutions produced at more distant locations and transported over longer distances. Shorter transport distances may therefore offer an advantage in meeting increasingly stringent climate and regulatory requirements.
As a standard, Green Box bathrooms have a calculated carbon emission of approximately 2.9 kg CO₂ per m² per year.*
All materials used in the production of Green Box prefabricated bathrooms meet the requirements for Nordic Swan Ecolabelled construction. The bathrooms can also be included in projects certified under schemes such as DGNB and BREEAM, where relevant criteria are fulfilled.
*The calculation is based on standard assumptions and typical usage conditions. Project-specific documentation is available on request.

Reliability from delivery to completed construction
Follow Green Box prefabricated bathrooms on their journey from the factory to delivery on site. The video provides insight into the planned logistics and processes that help ensure a stable and predictable construction process.
You will gain an overview of the procedures that ensure correct handling and installation. This reduces the risk of errors and damage and contributes to a consistent level of quality in the finished building.
Green Box bathrooms are developed with a focus on quality, documentation and well-planned delivery. With clear guidelines for handling and integration into the shell structure, they support both the project schedule and the overall outcome.
Focus on operation and maintenance
Operational efficiency and long-term quality are key parameters in modern construction. When Green Box is involved in building and renovation projects with prefabricated bathrooms, we focus on delivering solutions that not only support an efficient construction process, but also create value in the operational phase.
Technical installations and materials are selected with a focus on durability, accessibility and ease of maintenance. This contributes to stable operating conditions and can reduce the need for future interventions.
Through collaboration with established suppliers, we ensure documented components and proven systems. The result is prefabricated bathrooms developed with consideration for both the construction phase and the full lifecycle of the building.
