Hotel Nyborg Strand – a beautifully located course and conference centre on the shores of the Great Belt – is about to undergo significant expansion in the form of a new wing with 93 rooms. The new wing will complement the existing facilities and strengthen the hotel’s position as one of Denmark’s leading conference hotels. All rooms in the new wing will feature prefabricated bathrooms from Green Box.

New chapter for Nyborg Strand

Hotel Nyborg Strand is gearing up for the future with an ambitious expansion. The new wing, Haven (the Garden), will have 93 rooms on three to four floors. With expected completion in 2026, the project is part of a comprehensive modernisation plan, which also includes a new reception and lounge area.

As part of the holistic vision for the hotel, all rooms in the Haven wing will be fitted with prefabricated bathrooms from Green Box. The solution combines high quality standards with an efficient construction process – in that the bathrooms are delivered as finished modules, ready for installation directly on site.

Calming, quality and function

The prefabricated bathrooms are designed in calming, neutral colours to accentuate spaciousness and exude timeless elegance. Light surfaces and minimalist interiors create a harmonious feel, focusing on the comfort and well-being of guests.

The materials have been carefully selected to ensure both durability and easy cleaning – which is essential in the hospitality industry where bathrooms must meet strict requirements due to frequent use and exposure to moisture. Production takes place under controlled conditions, ensuring precision in every detail – from wet room protection and grouting to tiling and plumbing. The result is consistent quality, fewer challenges on site and a faster installation process.

The Haven extension is a key part of Hotel Nyborg Strand’s overall development plan, which also includes the refurbishment of the reception, lounge and other hotel wings. Turnkey contractors are H. Skjøde Knudsen A/S in collaboration with Archidea Arkitekter and OBH Consulting Engineers.
