Nursing Centre Løten

Green Box is supplying 27 prefabricated bathrooms for new nursing centre housing units centrally located in Løten, Norway. The project is being developed by Bo Godt Eiendom AS, with Ecosør serving as the general contractor and Studio NWS as the architect.

New nursing centre with a focus on accessibility

On Stasjonsvegen in Løten, 27 new nursing centre housing units are being built as part of the municipality’s efforts to develop future housing and care services. The units, which will have a size of 53 m², will be designed with a focus on a safe and functional daily life, featuring good accessibility and practical solutions.

The building must be constructed according to passive house standards, and the project also requires, among other things, that Nordic Swan Ecolabelled materials are used.

Prefabricated bathrooms from Green Box

In total, Green Box will deliver 27 prefabricated bathrooms for the new units. The solution is based on the project requirements for universal design, functionality and material selection, and is developed in close collaboration with the other project partners.

The bathrooms are manufactured under controlled conditions and delivered as complete units ready for installation on site. This ensures a consistent and quality-assured delivery, with installations, surfaces and other details completed prior to delivery.

Quality and documentation from production to delivery

When constructing a nursing home, the requirements for functionality, accessibility and documentation are key. Prefabrication consolidates a large portion of the work into a controlled production process and allows for ongoing quality assurance leading up to the final delivery.

The project will take about 13 months to complete, and the new housing units are expected to be ready for occupancy in summer 2027.
