Green Flow
A system for smarter water use
Focus on tomorrow’s drinking water
At Green Box, we are committed to developing solutions that support a more resource-efficient construction industry. Innovation and new ideas drive our ambition to rethink technical installations in construction – and Green Flow is a result of this work.
Green Flow is a patented system that makes it possible to reuse water from showers for toilet flushing in apartment buildings and major renovation projects. The system is designed to make better use of water resources – especially in buildings with high daily water consumption.
Experience from projects shows that Green Flow can significantly reduce fresh drinking water consumption. In an average household with four people, the potential exists for annual water savings of up to 27% according to our own measurements.
We have already harvested valuable experience with Green Flow, and are now working to further develop and optimise the system based on practical experience and user feedback.
Clean drinking water also in the future
With Green Flow, we want to contribute to solutions that use water more wisely while supporting projects where resource considerations and operational optimisation go hand in hand.

WE USE WATER SMARTER – WITH GREEN FLOW
Green Flow is a compact unit that collects water from showers and reuses it for toilet flushing. In this way, it can potentially reduce the total amount of fresh water used in a home. According to our own measurements from test projects, water savings of up to 27% have been realised in households with four residents.
The system is automatic: Water from the shower is collected and temporarily stored in a closed tank until it is used for toilet flushing. The system does not consume a lot of power as it runs on only 24 volts.
To ensure good hygiene, the water is purified in two steps – first via coarse filtration (e.g. hair and particles) and then via a purification process that inhibits bacterial growth. No chemical disinfection is used, and the solution is designed with both safety and reliability in mind.
3 GOOD REASONS FOR CHOOSING GREEN FLOW
By installing Green Flow in your next construction project, the end-user gets:
the possibility of reusing water and reducing the consumption of fresh drinking water
lower water bills in the operational phase
a system that can help relieve the pressure on water resources in large buildings
EASY MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION
We want your construction project to go well – both during construction and afterwards. This is why Green Flow has been developed with a focus on reliability and ease of maintenance.
The system is designed with few moving parts and self-cleaning functions, minimising the need for ongoing service during daily use. Green Flow is not equipped with filters that routinely need replacing – the solution is designed to ensure minimal user intervention during normal use.
All components are selected with durability and availability in mind, and come from established and very reliable suppliers. This ensures both stable operation and easy access to spare parts if needed in connection with servicing.
On delivery of Green Box bathrooms with a Green Flow system, a maintenance guide is included, which contains all relevant information for the facilities management staff.
water saving made simple
Water-saving measures should be easy to integrate – both in the building itself and for future users. This is why we have focused on simplifying function, design, production and maintenance in the development of Green Flow.
Green Flow has been developed as an integrable solution that can be installed directly in our prefabricated bathrooms. Together with the other technical installations, the system is placed in a closed technical service shaft that is accessed from the front or back – depending on how the bathroom pods are integrated into the project.
We know that technical service shafts often present a challenge when designing new buildings. They need to be compact, yet accommodate a wide range of installations.
This is why a service shaft solution has been the preferred option in developing Green Flow. We have extensive experience in adapting technical solutions to different projects, and are happy to help advise on service shaft design to ensure there is sufficient space for both installation and future access.
