Follow our work with ESG reporting

At Green Box, consideration for the environment, our employees, business ethics and our collaboration with the outside world has always played a key role in the way we do business. This is why our first ESG report in 2024 marks an important milestone as we gather documentation and provides insights into our work with the climate, social conditions and good governance practices.

As part of A/S Motortramp, Green Box A/S complies with the statutory ESRS standards. In 2024, we actively map and communicate our impact on the climate, society and our organisation.

E – environmental

At Green Box, we see environmental responsibility as an integral part of our work. Therefore, mapping our carbon footprint is an important tool in our efforts to work more systematically to reduce emissions throughout the value chain.

We have an overall focus on responsible production and resource use. This is supported by our standardised production processes that help to minimise material waste and improve material efficiency.

10 Initiatives with a focus on climate and responsibility

Through 10 specific initiatives, we are continually working to reduce the carbon footprint of our prefabricated bathrooms – both in production and at construction sites.

Materials and environmental considerations

In our production of Green Box bathrooms, we therefore only use materials that are approved for use in Nordic Swan Ecolabelled construction. This means that the materials meet strict requirements with regard to their environmental and health impact.

S – Social

At Green Box, social responsibility is an integral part of our corporate culture. It has been incorporated and practiced from day 1 – and it is still a high priority in our company 11 years after we produced our first bathroom.

We believe that our employees, local community and partners play a crucial role in our success. Through a number of initiatives for our employees, we create a healthy and safe working environment where well-being and development are in focus. We continuously work to improve our employees’ working conditions, and we support the local community through various social projects.

Going the extra mile for young people in the labour market

At Green Box, we participate in a business community aimed at helping local young people gain a foothold in the labour market.

We support sustainable development

Development and knowledge sharing are a joint effort. Therefore, we are a member of the Danish sustainability network Bæredygtig Herning to both contribute and gain new knowledge.

Where people start their careers

Every year, we offer traineeships and apprenticeships to both young people and adults who would like to be part of Green Box.

G – Governance

At Green Box, we see good corporate governance as the foundation for everything we do. We strive to ensure transparency, accountability and high quality in all parts of our business. Our digital and paperless production helps to streamline our work processes while reducing resource consumption. The digital approach also ensures a high level of traceability and documentation throughout the value chain.

We are working to meet the statutory ESRS standards, and are continually collecting data on our climate impact, social responsibility and governance practices in connection with our future ESG reporting.

As part of our digital transparency strategy, we have been collecting relevant documentation on every single bathroom in an app for several years. This means that the developer, contractor or tradesman can scan a unique QR code on each bathroom and access all relevant information – and feed any new documentation directly into the system.
