At Green Box, we think innovatively and we are constantly challenging ourselves, so that we can be at the forefront of the development and production of the market’s preferred prefabricated bathrooms.
But what does it mean? For us, it is a question of not being guided by the known, but constantly pushing the boundaries and exploring new possibilities. And even if something seems difficult, that is not a reason not to explore it. On the contrary. It is precisely in curiosity and willingness to challenge what is immediately possible that we can create innovative solutions and thus set new standards.
Being at the forefront requires knowledge, resources and, not least, courage. It is not always easy, in fact, it can often be difficult. But that is also what makes it challenging and exciting.
With the ambition to create value by optimising the construction process with innovative, prefabricated bathrooms now and in the future, we have a constant focus on development, responsibility and high quality, which can be traced all the way through our Danish production to the construction sites.

Prefabricated bathrooms with documented low CO2 emissions
At Green Box, we want to contribute to tomorrow’s construction industry with solutions that can strengthen both the building process and the final result. This is why we are targeted in our efforts to optimise material selection and production processes – with a focus on quality and the more efficient use of resources.
Our bathrooms are designed to meet all applicable environmental requirements in the construction industry. We use materials approved for use in Nordic Swan Ecolabelled construction, and our solutions can be used in DGNB-certified construction projects.
Green Box bathrooms are built using a strong lightweight frame where the use of concrete is limited to the floor. According to in-house calculations, our standard solution has a carbon footprint of approx. 2.9 kg CO₂/m²/year* – which is lower than traditional concrete cabin production.

The story of green box A/s
Green Box began its journey in 2014 as we saw a need in the market for prefabricated bathrooms with low installation height and low weight.
Production started on a small scale with a factory hall of 500 m2 in the Danish town of Holstebro.
From day one, we have had a natural focus on digitalisation, optimisation of processes and environmentally-friendly production. We have determinedly developed and tested the design of our bathrooms, which is today patented in Denmark and the EU.
This has brought us on a growth journey up to today, where we have approx. 150 dedicated employees and produce around 4,000 bathrooms a year.
Along the way, we have replaced the factory hall in Holstebro with larger production facilities in the town of Aulum, located between Herning and Holstebro. All Green Box bathrooms will therefore continue to be produced at our own factory in Denmark. In autumn 2023, we established an office and showroom in Stockholm, from where an experienced sales team handles our activities in both Sweden and Norway.
In 2021, Green Box became part of the A/S Motortramp, group, which is today the majority owner of the company.

With Børsen Bæredygtig Cases, Børsen pays tribute to the companies that push the green transition with specific projects. In 2022, the award went to Green Box A/S.

In 2020, Green Box A/S was named Børsen Gazelle with a growth rate of 748%.

The growth entrepreneur award 2017
In 2017, Green Box received the Growth Entrepreneur Award from the Herning & Ikast-Brande Business Council. The award was given on the basis of Green Box’s development and implementation of an innovative business model as well as for the significant growth realised in just a few years.
